Successful termination of the QTLeap project (www.qtleap.eu). QTLeap was a 3-year project supported by the European Commission that combined the joint efforts of a consortium of 7 institutions for investigation, research and development and a real user case scenario with the industrial partner, Higher Functions.

The scope was the development of a superior machine translation system, allowing ASSET to utilize one single pivot language thereby reducing the internationalization efforts of any company using its results.

Wizard goes live. Follow our real-life ASSET application into the Wizard App through www.askwhizz.com. Wizard is minimalist agent that sits in any user’s desktop and that, among many other things, allows the user to come into contact with pcmedic’s support services through chat.

Behind the scenes, a hybrid solution of human + machine translation + chatbot interacts with the customer and tries resolve any technical difficulties, with as little human intervention as possible, as long as it’s sure the customer gets the right answers.
